I am pleased and proud to introduce my new service - Alchemy card readings! These beautiful special cards were created by Kim Krans of The Wild Unknown and I have found them to be incredibly revealing when using them.

We all are aware that Alchemy was used as a process to turn lead into gold, which is actually a metaphor for the process of transformation and growth that we are all always undergoing. During the Renaissance, Alchemists were Astrologers - and of course, because astrology is the tool by which we can name, recognize and experience the process of growth and change. I always say that astrology is an alchemical language. Our astrological charts are a way to observe and understand these deep experiences.

Life is one big laboratory and Nature is always teaching us Alchemy as she shows us how her patterns reflect what is happening within each of us.On some level, we are all alchemists in our everyday life. We use various processes to create and transform whether materially or energetically. I realized that my mother was the first alchemist I knew in my life. Way before I got my chemistry degree, she taught me to bake and I had her teach me how to make my own clothes. Who was the first alchemist you knew in your life?

Using the materials, cosmic forces and operations of Alchemy, these cards give you the experience of understanding the vitality in your field, your life. A reading is complex and shows you the dynamics that can be operating behind the scenes - such as The Golden Rose or a layer covering the whole reading - such as the Ash card. These all display the various qualities of the process. The cards are hexagonal shaped so they fit together and reveal a further message. And this shape is like a honeycomb, as bees are the ultimate alchemists.
