LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES

A new orchid blooming in my garden for the first time!

Happy Lunar Eclipse astrodarlings!

This month’s Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Pisces. Remember, it’s Virgo season and as the Sun visits this sign, the Full Moon inevitably falls in Virgo’s opposite sign of Pisces. This becomes a Lunar Eclipse because the lunation is happening at the North Node of Fate, which is in late Aquarius.

Since this is what we would call a North Node Eclipse, it is asking us to connect with our purpose and align with our feelings of fulfillment in our lives. Since it’s in Pisces, it’s bringing us a sense of relationship with something greater than we are - with the divine. Pisces always opens the door to our intuition, our gut feelings, our deep sense of knowing. This is a time to slow down, sit with yourself, get quiet for a while and listen to what intuition, guidance and knowledge comes forward. Ask yourself what you feel aligned to now. What feels fulfilling to you? This may also take you out of yourself to a place that may feel somewhat uncomfortable, this is what happens when we start to stretch and truly align with what purposeful work and actions are right for us. It's not about what feels familiar. It's about what feels next level for us. This is why listening and receiving guidance, insight and intuition right now is so important.

This eclipse isn’t operating alone. It’s is squared - challenged - by the planet Uranus that recently entered Gemini. Communication planet Mercury is also sitting next to the Sun. This attaches all sorts of high energy, surprises, unusual circumstances, brilliant ideas and inspiration to this lunar eclipse. I have been encouraging people to think before they speak or act, to not be impulsive and to stay grounded during these days. Spend some time in nature so that you can feel the Earth’s presence. Uranus and Mercury involved in this eclipse can be really like lightning. While they can bring an incredibly innovative idea forward, they can also bring a certain amount of chaos.

The other factor in this eclipse is that it occurs at 4° of Pisces, with the Sun at 4° of Virgo. Remember last month, we had a collection of outer planets at 4° of various signs, all interacting with each other. This is a direct correlation to those planetary relationships. This lunation puts an emphatic stamp on the transformational changes coming forward as a result of July’s configuration. This is a profound reminder of the personal power that is available to us. We are creators and we have the ability to create whatever we want and allow our lives to transform that way.

What to do with all this energy? I have been telling everyone on my Golden Astrologer podcast and on Instagram to aim for a breakthrough. It could be a breakthrough in your personal life or professional life. It could be a creative breakthrough or a breakthrough in healing some part of your life, as Pisces is a sign of healing. If you use the energy to set your intention and push the envelope even a little bit, it could really unfold into some deeper epiphany that could help you change your life. After all, isn't that what eclipses are for?

With much love and gratitude,

Deb
